Where block used in?
Blocks are set on a leveling bed to start the initial coursing. 'O' Block is used around doors, windows, at corners and as specified in the field. AAC can be cut with a carbide hand saw, diamond blade circular saw or AAC carbide tooth band saw. Block is glued together with thin-bed mortar using a notch trowel. It is easily drilled and shaped. 'U' Block can be cut to become 'H' Block when doubling a lintel or bond beam course. 'J' Bolts can be set in top bond beam for plates and at knock outs in 'U' Block for casting in place a ledger course. A comparatively minimum amount of concrete is used for grouting the cores and bond beams.
